Alto saxophonist Bobby Watson is one of the most beloved and critically acclaimed jazz artists of the last 50 years. A protégé of Art Blakey for whom he served as Jazz Messengers musical director, Watson has led his own groups including Horizon and New Horizon which have featured and nurtured new voices and young talent.
